"Tova Kook has years of experience teaching and working with teens. Mrs. Kook’s work has been showcased at the Fashion Institute for Design’s exhibits and she has been awarded prestigious awards for her innovative concepts and design execution.
Ms. Kook holds a dual Bachelors Degree in Studio Art and Psychology from Queens College and is completing her second degree in Interior Architecture & Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Ms. Kook teaches art to all incoming freshmen, and coordinates our intensive Art Academy.
She will also run the Interior Design and Fashion Design clubs that is open to all students. Under her direction, the art program will help our students master technical skills for working with a variety of media, inspire creative thought, and teach art history." Rina Zeryker, Principal
TK Design was incorporated in 2013 by its lead designer, Tova Kook. A former design student at the Fashion Institute of Technology, Kook takes the elements of design to the next level.
An artist herself, she has an innate understanding of the relationship between color, space, and proportion. Focusing on transforming interiors into sophisticated but comfortable environments for everyday living, she seamlessly blends the needs of her client with her own unique vision.
Her ultimate goal? To create spaces that are at once stylish and timeless – spaces that will serve her client's well for many years
to come.
